ISLAMABAD, Sep 9 (APP): The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Monday held a full court reference to mark the beginning of the new judicial year.
The reference was presided by Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa with other justices in attendance. The members of the Shariat Appellate bench, Justice Qibla Ayaz and Justice Khalid Masood, were also present on the reference.
The full court reference marks the commencement of a new judicial year, reflecting on the achievements and challenges faced by the judiciary.
Addressing the full court reference, Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa said that the hearings of the cases of the public interest would be broadcasted live in a bid to ensure transparency.
He said that the people could view the performance of the top court due to the live live broadcasting of the proceedings.
